I visited the parkwood gallery to view The Glass City Landscape : the urban Landscape of Toledo. The exhibit was set up to flow in a circle. However one would have to loop the circle twice to view all that was there. There were a few photos which would and would not appeal to those over and under 25. I think those who are older and perhaps those who are religious would not of "loved" the "Death By..." photos. I myself was turned off by it for religious reasons. I also didn't feel as though many of the photos fit the theme of the exhibit. Some were not exactly"urban" and others were not even in Toledo. The gallery was/is painted a light gray giving it a lighter feel than the CVA Gallery. There are a few windows that let plenty of light into the gallery The labels are difficult to read, one almost has to get up close to read them. They are small black print on a sticky rectangle and see thru. White with a little larger black type would of been a better choice. The labels are placed to the bottom right of the work. This makes the quite low on the larger pieces.
